Text Message Program

Dandi AI LLC (doing business as “Ask Dandi”) provides an AI phone receptionist to local home-service businesses. When you call one of those businesses, our receptionist answers on their behalf, takes your request, and can send you a text message about it.

This page describes exactly how we collect your consent, what we send, and how to stop it.

How you opt in

You call us. We never text first. Every text we send follows a phone call that you placed to a business we answer for. We do not buy, rent, or import phone number lists, and we never message a number that has not just called us.

During that call, our receptionist asks your permission out loud before anything is sent, in words like these:

“Is the number you’re calling from the best one to reach you, and can we text updates to it?”

You have to answer yes. If you say no, nothing is sent and your service request is handled exactly the same way — agreeing to texts is never a condition of getting service. Your answer is captured in the call recording and transcript, which we retain as the record of your consent.

The first message you receive states the message frequency, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out.

What we send

Transactional messages only, about the specific request you made on your call. No marketing, no promotions, no recurring newsletters. Normally a single message per request.

A confirmation of what you asked for:

Ozark Comfort Heating: Thanks for calling. You're on the schedule
for Saturday morning at 2477 E War Eagle St. We'll text if anything
changes.

Or a confirmation that someone will be in touch:

Ask Dandi: Thanks for calling. Someone will reach out on Tuesday
or Wednesday to get your setup call scheduled.

Separately, business owners who contract with us receive call summaries and urgent-job alerts about their own customers. That consent is given in their service agreement with us, not on a phone call.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message and you will immediately stop receiving texts from that number. We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT. You will get one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and nothing after it.

Costs

We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Message frequency varies by request.

Your information

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
